Flamborough Flowerpot Festival 2026

The Flamborough Flowerpot Festival will return this June 2026, and we can’t wait to see the village come to life once again with brilliant, creative, and sometimes slightly bonkers flowerpot displays!

Throughout June, residents, businesses, and community groups across Flamborough will be creating their own flowerpot models and displays, turning the village into a fun trail for visitors of all ages to explore.

Whether you’re planning something small and simple or big and bold, we love seeing every single creation. The festival is all about bringing the community together, having a bit of fun, and seeing just how creative a flowerpot can become.

Get Involved

If you’re thinking about making a display this year, now is the perfect time to start planning your ideas.

We’ll also be running craft sessions and workshops in the village, giving everyone the chance to get involved and create something truly potty. These sessions are a great way to share ideas, learn new tricks, and enjoy a bit of creative fun together.

Be sure to follow our social media pages for details of upcoming craft sessions, inspiration, and festival updates.

Can You Help?

Our potty models need somewhere to rest when the festival is over. If you have a barn, shed, or garage in Flamborough that could help provide storage space for our well-behaved models, we’d love to hear from you.

📚 Flamborough in Fiction!

We’re thrilled to share a special feature from mystery author Mona Marple, who’s taken inspiration from our very own Flowerpot Festival for her latest book series!

In her beautifully written blog, “Flamborough Flowerpot Festival: A Quirky Yorkshire Tradition & the Inspiration Behind My New Mystery Series,” Mona captures the magic, creativity, and community spirit that makes our festival so special — and reveals how it’s become the backdrop for her brand new Yorkshire Mysteries.

From Elvis to Spiderman, and all the wonderfully weird creations in between, Mona’s words celebrate the heart of what we do here in Flamborough.

✨ Pop the kettle on and enjoy the read below — and who knows, you might spot a familiar pot or two...
